Better, easier, fairer, and more fun!
There are clients who, mainly due to the increasing uncertainty of the DBA Act, impose additional requirements on the payments of contractors. With Sportverloning, statutory payments are always made. We pay workers who have social security through the UWV, and pay for the employee insurance (WW, WAO, WIA and ZW). We also pay workers without unemployment coverage, but then we require disability insurance under certain conditions, and we are currently working to develop a social security package in which we provide income security until retirement. It's nice knowing that this is properly taken care of.
The assurance that everything is properly taken care of implies a market rate that allows people to self-direct their own work. We therefore do not pay below a gross average hourly rate of €16. This rate is based on 150% of the gross minimum wage, or the minimum rate that is socially expected for people working at their own risk and expense. Direction needs some room for maneuver. If the rate is below 16 euro, then there will always be an employment contract and in that case Sportverloning will not suit you or your workers. This minimum rate applies to all ages. After all, you hire someone for his/her qualities and added value.
It is important for contractors to be insured against incapacity for work. After all, anyone can find themselves incapable of working (fully) due to an illness or accident, either on or off the job. If a contractor invoices more than €3,000 gross within three months, we believe they are at too great a risk against drastic loss of income due to incapacity for work. We therefore require such contractors to take out disability insurance. This way, you as a client also know that your contractors are properly insured.
